LOL. Yeah, my child knows not to do that, knew it a long, long time ago. I would have grabbed up by the pants.
i drove my mother crazy with that when I was younger. and often times i didn't even want anything important. i remember doing it one time, and one of my mother's friends got so fed up she said, "dara will you leave your mama alone." i still don't like that lady to this day.
now i'm about to have my own child. i wonder if he/she will do that to me.

you can bet all the money you can stand to lose that your sweet baby will pull this trick out of his/her little hat.
I don't know what it is; maybe the music of the repetition or just the sound of their voice coming out of their head. When my daughter does this (and she is INFAMOUS for it) it has the same effect on me as chalkboard grating. That is probably why I laughed for about ten minutes after I first saw it. I was so glad somebody else's child was as wacky as mine.
She laughed too (pretty doggone loud) which did not make me smile.

my munchkin is just now starting to say "mom" and i think he knows that it actually means me. he wobbles around saying "mom, mom, mom, mom" and i'm steady saying "yes, yes, yes?" lol.
LOL. That sh*t was too funny. My 4 year old does that. I ignore her sometimes and then I tell her to stop callin my name. LOL. I can hear my own mother's words coming outta my mouth before I even realize it.
Next time warn us not to play that one at work!
